Is there a player with time synchronization - to play videos for a certain time?

There is a set of videos. You need to play them for some time, then play the next group of clips for some time, and so on.
All videos in one playlist with something like timestamps. Are there players that support this feature?

Since this is Unix, you need to look not for a player with this cunning little thing, but for a way of interacting with what is.
1. Make several playlists from one playlist, according to the groups of videos.
2. Pull the player by cron / atd so that it loads another playlist.

No, alas, there is no such player :-( You can program such functionality yourself, for example, based on VLC and its command mode, or implement it, again programmatically via gstreamer. In the case of VLC, this is quite simple, if you don’t bother with implementation features, in English here - www.videolan.org/doc/vlc-user-guide/en/ch05.html
Well, if for an adult, then we have a product that implements very similar functionality, though it is a client server. (and not only) according to the schedule to set-top boxes via ethernet / UDP (micro-IPTV).If interested, itmicro.ru/details/keenvision-po-dlya-digital-sign...
There is a demo version, you can install to the virtual

Solved a similar problem (rollers for staff in canteens) using VLC / crontab / puppet (to change scripts) / rsync
It turned out a bicycle.
Search better in Google on the topic "indoor tv software"
