Is there a lightweight PHP CMS with a simple admin interface?

We need a lightweight PHP CMS with the simplest possible admin interface. teapots will use it. You need a minimum of functionality - adding text articles, news, photo gallery (even registration / authorization is not needed). Ideally, support for modularity so that the missing features, in which case, can be added independently.

You can, of course, write yourself, but I see no reason to reinvent the wheel, because. I feel like it's already been written before me.

I myself faced such a task.
I can recommend
CMS GetSimple
get-simple.info/
getsimple.ru/
Very good for mini-sites, doesn't use databases, admin panel is convenient.

Look at my bike , it's simple and there are a lot of additional modules + you have your own IDE. More than 100 designs, support for skins in the admin panel, etc. Support forum available.

Look also towards cmsmadesimple.org, also a lightweight and fairly understandable admin panel, expandable through modules.

Disclaimer : The following text is just my opinion and is not a reason to ignite holivars.
It's either WordPress or Drupal.
These are the best PHP CMS at the moment.

You can, of course, write yourself, but I see no reason to reinvent the wheel, because. I feel like it's already been written before me.

Here, rather, the point is that you will get tired of doing the admin panel. It would be desirable beautifully, ajax, all affairs. It will take a lot of time :)

The question is "a little" holivar. The internet is full of questions like this. Many admin panels can be sharpened with rights for your purposes. As a result, it will be easy for the end user.
If the user has never dealt with admin panels, then most likely, any one will be equally difficult for him, because for the first time.
From the post I did not understand whether you have experience in setting up and installing. If not, then buy a hosting that allows you to put something for free and put it. At the same time, hosting support will help at first.
At first I wanted to advise www.cmsmadesimple.ru/ , but I didn’t really like the structure of the pages there. Of the benefits: the engine is not new, a large community, there is a Russian site. They don't try to be smart.
WP is just as good. But you can’t do a photo gallery with a swoop. You need to install plugins, write shortcodes. Incl. not to say that the system is right here for a beginner. But in principle, it is not complicated and is available on many hosting sites.
And so - Google to help, there are a lot of holivars on this topic

If you make a website and don’t work with the web anymore, then, as Drupal has already said, you can make materials an article, page, news, photo gallery. You hang the design. cut off Access to everything superfluous in the admin except for creating materials and editing them. There will be 5 buttons that can be shown to the user. Work for 2 hours.
Lack eats a bunch of resources.
The advantages are not very difficult to add what you need if the task is the same template.
Although my choice is 3 ready-made django template portals, and a set of the most popular modules. If necessary, you collect the desired site from them. After you have worked out the necessary templates, the work will be almost the same for 2 hours. I would advise not to waste time on CMS, but to prepare such templates for yourself on whatever PHP framework, if you constantly work with the web. In the future, it will pay off both in time and in host resources.

Why not take drupal at all? The admin panel is simple if you restrict all rights to the "admin". Actively maintained by a large community, there are a bunch of skins and plugins.

Reload CMS. Everything is already included there - gallery, forum, minichat, guestbook, articles, submission form, rss channels, etc.
Link to the latest version reloadcms.com/main/?module=forum&action=topic&id=132
As for modules - when creating a static page, you can save it in "php" mode - all written text will be interpreted as php code.
That is, to create the simplest module , you do not need to read the manuals.
