Virtualization

Is there a hypervisor that allows you to work with virtual machines directly on the server where it is installed?

I got a moderately elderly server at home on two quad-core xeons, it will be used as a home workstation (albeit quite noisy). The work is supposed to be in Linux (html-layout, etc.), but a full-fledged Photoshop is required, wine is not considered.

Since hardware supports virtualization at the hardware level, the question arose: are there first-level hypervisors that allow you to keep Linux and Windows running simultaneously on the same physical computer in different virtual machines, with the ability to quickly switch from one VM to another? That is, one computer, keyboard, mouse, monitor - and two operating systems as two programs, with alt-tab switching. Or do I have a direct road to VirtualBox and other software?
