Is there a fundamental difference between QGridLayout and QVBoxLayout/QHBoxLayout?

I am learning pyqt5. the question arose: what are the pros and cons of using gridlayout and boxlayout ??
PS or do people generally use QMainWindow with default layout?

What could be the pros or cons? These are 3 different layout managers designed for their own purposes. Use the one that suits you for this window, you can even combine by nesting one into the other.
