There is such a pretty handy thing as Desk.com from Salesforce. But I wonder if there are any completely free open-source analogues (at least attempts)?

OpenSource of this level is very difficult to make, almost impossible. A commercial project will always be better. Of the best, only OTRS, which has already been named above.
