you can make payments only through the site, managers do not have cash registers on site, but they can manually drive in all the payment data. There are many points of sale, so installing terminals everywhere is not cost-effective.

Well, you can ask for a number and a code, only sane clients are unlikely to give it to you. When there is a terminal, the bank acts as an intermediary and takes responsibility for the client's data. And so - if the clint's money disappears from the card - you will automatically be suspected of theft.
It is better to make a payment through the site, and issue it to the client by the order number - the client pays himself, and he tells you the order number.
