Is the Wi-Fi hotspot suitable for ADSL?

Hello! There was a need to change the ADSL router. Now the Internet goes to the house via a regular telephone cable, connects to the router with an RJ-11 connector. In the near future there will be optics in the house, and I would like to buy a router suitable for this.
The question is as follows: can I make the Internet work in a router that does not support ADSL through an RJ-11 > RJ-45 adapter. I am looking to buy a ZyXEL Keenetic Giga II, is it suitable for this?

There is such an option
Put your old ADSL modem in Bridge mode (This mode does not carry any load on the modem)
(In Bridge mode, the ADSL modem can work as a transparent bridge).
Already connect the ZyXEL Keenetic Giga II to it (and configure everything on it PPPoE PPtP or whatever you need)
Time has passed, the optics have come, we remove the adsl modem in the far box and use only the ZyXEL Keenetic Giga II.

Through an adapter - no. ADSL and Ethernet are different technologies.

If the router does not support ADSL then no. If only by any third-party firmware to give him this opportunity.
