Is the Macbook Pro 13 retina screen too small for a developer?

I want to take mbp 13r, but I doubt 13 inches is it too small for a developer (js, php, photoshop)? Or save up and take mbp 15r?

I'm sure ~10 lines of text is enough to focus on the code.
the whole question is in the organization of the workflow and the possession of tools.
virtual desktops, competent organization of navigation through the code and management of the working environment (if some panels get in the way, you can turn it on / off using hot keys, etc.
) will add.
In terms of weight and size characteristics, 15 inch is seriously inferior to 13.
13 "mbp is an ideal laptop for a developer)

I've been working on 13.3" monitors for 6 years already, I don't experience any problems.
There were in turn:
Acer 3810TG
Acer 3820TG
Macbook Air 13"
Macbook Pro Retina 13" (now)
I'm used to it, I don't like to turn my head on the big screen. You can set the resolution on MBP Retina equivalent to 1680x1050, with it fits on the screen more than the same diagonal on the Macbook Air.Well, the screen itself is of such quality that it will hurt to look at any external monitors later.Or you have to take a top-end monitor to ensure a similar picture quality, but these are not few.
I am engaged in web development and application development. I don’t feel uncomfortable and it doesn’t slow me down. Although I know people who can't do without two monitors. Here individually, a matter of habit. With the advent of the first macbook, I refused the mouse (I haven’t used it at all for 3 years), but many people don’t even imagine such a job. Therefore, I advise you to try and decide for yourself, as it is more convenient.

To be honest, it's small. I tried to work on this (ideally on the road, in the country, in a cafe). But at home, I always connected a large external monitor to it.
So if you do not plan an external monitor, then 15 is better.

And 15 is not enough, for comfortable work, an external monitor is still better.

Small, difficult to work comfortably for a long time
