Alas. In this book, C++98 is regarded as the great achievement of C++ standardization, and is now obsolete.
There is nothing about multithreading (C++11) and file system (C++17)
in it. There is not even a banal ranged for in it, which is already sad. In short, put the junk on the shelf.

Lipman has a tutorial with 11 standards, but some of the material is more like a reference, but if you are new to programming, then this tutorial will suit you too
