Is the book on Verilog up to date?

Is it worth reading Digital Design with Verilog HDL,
Eliezer Sternheim, Rajvir Singh, Yatin Trivedi,
Design Automation Series, 1990.
Or rather a translation (partial) located on rutracker?

Of course, you don’t need to read such junk
. In general, the standard for Verilog and SystemVerilog is well written with examples. There are templates with code examples in Quartus and in Vivado. Good books in English :
SystemVerilog_for_Verification_Second_Edition_A_Guide_to_Learning_the_Testbench_Language_Features.9780387765297.31566.pdf
