Is teaching ui/ux design promising?
Good afternoon. I need help. I've been braking for the second week. I'm at a crossroads. And I want and prick.
What's the matter - for more than 6 years I've been doing front end - site layout. Nothing complicated - html, css, cms systems. Everything.
I want to switch to ui/ux.
Now I'm thinking of taking a course. And I hesitate. What do you think - to improve your position in the front or move into interface design?
Are interface designers in demand now? The salary doesn't make sense. I believe that if a person works poorly, then he cannot rise above 30 thousand here and there. If you work cool, and are a master of your craft, then in design you can easily exceed 150 if you wish.
Well, I understand the average salary, the front has more, but I am a person more prone to humanitarian knowledge.
And I think that I could develop well in this area.
It scares me to quit like this ..
Or will the front + ui / ux bundle give an advantage in the future?
I am 35 years old. I have to make a choice now. I hesitate, but I understand that a lot depends on the decision that I will make now, in the future.

Interface designers are not as in demand as front-end developers.
Frontmen can easily do without designers, use ready-made UI libraries, and it’s rarely when it comes to UX, because this is a long and painstaking work and not all companies can afford it financially.
If you want money, it's better to level up to 150-200k front. But you can always take a UX course and try your hand at it if you're passionate about it.

While there is an opportunity, learn everything that you like and that is at least somehow connected with your work. And brains develop, and as a result, this has a positive effect on professional activity.
Regarding courses:
There is indeed a lot of information in open sources, but normal courses allow you to save the most valuable thing - time.
Start with free sources: the same YouTube, forums. When the head begins to boil, questions begin to accumulate - sign up for courses.
