Is Symfony suitable for small projects?

I want to do my home project, it will be small (200 pages reference book + personal account and admin panel).
I know Laravel well, and I think why not learn symphony while doing my project.
I often read that symphony is very complex and should only be used for potentially large projects.
What do you advise? Still use Symphony, or is it redundant in my case and should I implement it on a simpler version - Laravel?

You decide: Do you need to learn or pick up a stack for the project?
If you learn, then there is no question. Just download Symfony and get started. You may spend more time and effort than with Laravel. But then you will try for yourself a new, promising framework. Symfony is not complex. It just has different approaches in development and requires a more rigorous approach from the developer in writing code.
If you need to pick up a stack, then Laravel is perfect for current tasks. Especially since you know him well.
