What is important is not what you are going to do, but what you intend to use from the objects of the exclusive rights of your "current vendor" (whatever is hidden behind this strange word).
It is possible for Wave not to use elements of its software and trademarks, in which case you will not be bound by copyright or customization restrictions. If you are in the former Soviet Union, then you probably cannot be bound by patent restrictions either.
