Is Selenium Grid needed to run scripts in parallel on local machine?

I am using Selenium to automate a number of Rosreestr related tasks. I have several scripts that solve different problems. I want to run these scripts in parallel. Several different or several instances of the same script. Question: is Grid needed for this? What are the ways to solve such a problem?
