How to collect images from many hdmi outputs?

Hello.
There is a zoo of devices with hdmi output, the task is to collect screenshots from them every few seconds (video stream is not needed).
How can this be organized?

Provided that the distance to HDMI devices does not exceed the cable length recommended by the standard:
1. A computer with an HDMI video capture card installed;
2. Managed HDMI matrix switcher, for connecting HDMI sources to the capture card;
3. Software for managing the switch, taking and saving screenshots.
