Is Safari far behind Chrome?

I am now learning to make web applications and they advised me to use chrome as the main one, since all the innovations in it are the first to come out and in general it is top. I like Safari, because it is very conveniently implemented on the phone and tablet when chrome and muff twitches and interfere with work. On a laptop, in principle, it doesn’t matter, but still gave it away with a preference for safari for synchronization between devices.

In terms of ease of use for yourself, you answered your own question!
And in terms of development, my opinion is that safari sucks! I haven't found anything better than chrome. At first I used opera, for a long time, then on mozilla, but after its wild lags I got tired and switched to chrome. And I don't even think about going down. A very handy developer panel does its job!
