Is project support difficult without bem?
I have never done typesetting without bem, since I started doing typesetting I was lucky to learn about Bem. But sometimes projects without BEM go through me, and the layout is done on tags. Moreover, I know that the typesetter was made by a person who has been doing this for many years and in his office he is a senior (As I assume, just by length of service).
As a result, these projects are not normally supported, because I don’t know how to support layout on tags and with incomprehensible classes. (I’m already silent that as a rule there is not even a little customized gulp there)
I understand correctly if the layout is under MPA and goes to the back to the same php, and the project should develop in the future, then BEM is necessary? Or I don’t understand something and the layout on tags is not so bad (which I doubt)
I would like to know for a reason I am indignant when I have to do something in projects without BEM))

There should be a systematic approach, no matter what. If there is a traceable system, you can support it.
Personally, I like BEM more. But this is rather because I work with him most often.
