Is one otf font format enough for different OSes?

I read that you need to connect the font in different formats, namely eot, svg, ttf, but the wiki says that the best otf. So what to connect one otf? The designer gave 8 different fonts, I don’t want to explain to him that he is a fucker. Convert all 8 to another 32 too lazy. What to do?

Answer: no.
As far as I remember, your otf only supports a donkey (maybe someone has already pulled himself up). A more or less universal font is woff (IE 8 did not hear about it). If the task is full cross-browser compatibility (all OSes and browsers), then you will have to use the full set.
Here are links for reference:

@jarskii

All of the listed formats are required for cross-browser compatibility.

I use only WOFF, enough for all modern browsers.
