Is MikroTik equipment suitable for organizing a school LAN?
Good evening!
There is a 3-storey school building, children live on the 3rd floor (boarding school), we plan to organize a LAN only on the second and first floors. Since the children live and study there, I decided not to use Wi-Fi, only via cables. Children study on the second floor, administration is on the first floor. Just got a job with them just two weeks ago. Teachers complain that the Internet only works in two classrooms on the second floor. From the router is D-Link DIR-615 and unmanaged TP-LINK switches. The director dreams of having the Internet in every classroom. All classrooms are located on the second floor. There is also a computer room on the first floor. At this time, I plan to at least replace D-Link DIR-615 with Keenetic Giga. Made mini sketches of what is needed. This will be my first LAN collection experience. Here is a sample list of
Router (MIKROTIK RB3011UIAS-RM)
Switch (MIKROTIK CSS326-24G-2S+RM)
Patch Panel
Patch Cord
Cable Organizer
Socket Block
Wall Cabinet
Shielded Twisted Pair Coil
Wire Tray
Cable Channel
Network Outlet
Wire
Tie RJ-45 Connector
Stopped on Mikrotik equipment. So far I have not chosen exact models, only approximately. There is also an idea of what to build on UBIQUITI Unifi Security Gateway Pro USG-PRO-4 + D-Link managed switches.
Please share your tips
Thank you!

I share. For me, the RB-951 mikrik is enough))
The cheapest option is to take your Mikrotik and install an unmanaged switch from Length.
If beauty - then your choice of equipment is suitable.
Shielded vituha - why? quite ordinary
For the rest - everything seems to be correct
Patch panel - in fact, it is not necessary, you can start everything directly without it. (but this already depends on the TK)
If you choose a "head" between mikrik and ubiquiti - I'm for mikrotik. what longer switches will be no longer important.
It is not clear only one thing - how the Wifi will prevent children ... it is harmless. they have more radiation from sockets and smartphones)
And who got a job? Fuck the boarding school has its own separate IT specialist, there is work for half an hour a day maximum.
Stretching the network and putting in a telecom cabinet with suitable equipment is a one-time job for SCS installers, they will do it cheaper and better than any enikey.
