Is Meteor.JS up to date?

I liked Meteor.JS.
But finding a performer turned out to be more difficult than I thought.
What are the alternatives to the meteor?

This seems to be just about WebSockets, not about a meteor.
DerbyJS , but there may be even fewer performers - it's better to just look for a smart javascripter.
