Is linking the power supply with APFC + UPS viable?
Good afternoon.
Power goes out very often at home. Literally for 5 seconds, but this is enough for all the equipment to go into reboot.
As a result, I bought an Ippon Back Basic 1500 Euro 900W 1500VA UPS. It works in conjunction with the Corsair HX750i power supply. PSU has AFPC. And I read a lot of material about the incompatibility of this system with UPS.
I tested this bundle with a small computer load and a power outage. The UPS started working on batteries, the computer continued to work quietly.
I would like to clarify whether these actions confirm the operability of the UPS and power supply?
Can a UPS somehow harm the power supply?
And nothing that the power supply is connected not directly to the outlet, but through the APC PM8-RS Essential Surge Arrest surge protector?
Thank you for attention.

If someone is interested, today I handed over the UPS back. He could not withstand today a brief, I would even say a second power outage. All the equipment didn’t even go into overload, and he knocked out the computer. The Ippon UPS itself has a lot of jambs, if you are interested, I can write which ones.
