Is Kali Linux suitable for a web developer?

What are the pros or cons? And perhaps the best option for a web developer is something from Ubuntu?

The choice of distribution kit is a personal matter.
Why not fit, I generally sit under the arch. Ubuntu is not a good choice for a web developer.
The fact is that in the same arch it is easier to install, for example, the latest versions of packages, try out the same PHP7, the latest versions of NGINX, etc.

Kali was created for a specific task, and developed for the same task.
Actually, why choose it to work with other tasks?
And on the other hand - and why not, if you do not interfere with the functionality you do not need, and you can add the one you need.

Suitable, because it doesn’t matter what, the main thing is that the distro is fresh years old. And the fact that there are pen testing tools there, you don’t run them when you write code, but if you have computer resources, it’s better to keep Fedor or Ubuntu and Kali in a virtual machine in order to test the written site on owasp top 10

Just use ubuntu and don't waste time searching. Otherwise, you will only spend time looking for the perfect distribution.
