Is it worth using a virtual / online number to link a Vkontakte account?

Hello, I have one small community on Vkontakte for about 10,000 people, its essence is as follows - posting vacancies and finding a job in the province in which I live. The community itself is quite popular in our area, and is the main source of information about new, fresh vacancies. Provided that not so many are registered in it, the total coverage can be about 30,000 people - count the entire city and the surrounding areas. An account was registered with the community on an unregistered mobile phone (sorry for the tautology), and no, it's not a scam, but a number of objective factors that sometimes have to be taken into account, given local realities.
Firstly, in Kazakhstan until now there has not been such a strict and mandatory registration as in Russia - you could buy numbers in boxes, and do whatever you want with them, i.e. there was nothing illegal about using unregistered numbers. Secondly, given some maniacal desire of our local government, which is called "Akimat" (the same Mayor's Office), to manage everything, and sometimes, using its power, to seize other people's possessions, like the same communities - most of the local holders groups popular among the people on Vkontakte like “Car Market”, “Bazaar”, “Purchase and Sale”, “Announcements”, etc. they try, as they say, not to stick their heads out of the swamp, and use fake pages linked to unregistered numbers.
Such are our realities, and there is nothing to be done about it, I myself witnessed how my acquaintances, who were the holders of the largest community in the city, the local government apparatus tried to “squeeze” it - it was not possible, but the community itself had to be buried in order to avoid further problems.
Now everything is complicated by the fact that the registration of cell numbers is becoming mandatory, and plus all this, which is even worse, now you have to link your IIN to the IDE of your smartphone - everything is according to the canons of George Orwell, what can I say. Personally, this moment is very annoying for me, and given my some paranoia, I now don’t know how to do better: hurry up and try to save the community simply because it’s “sorry”. On the other hand, given that I don’t earn anything in it, I don’t know whether it’s worth spending time on it at all - everything is here, as in the old proverb “there is a lot of squealing, not enough wool.” I thought about taking the community to virtual / online services representing online numbers, but after reading the reviews of them, I changed my mind, because many people complain that the services do not work very often, after some time they bend,
In general, I understand that the question is somewhat specific, but still, I hope to get at least some intelligible answer from you. Thank you all in advance.

On such numbers you can register only what is not a pity. Because there is always a chance that, for example, you will stupidly forget your password or you will need some action that requires SMS confirmation - it always exists. And a virtual number - it is a virtual number - today it exists, and tomorrow they will also come to the owner of the service - and that's all ...

Not worth it
Well, your number is in no way associated with the community, there is no way to find it out from the community

Yes, it is quite possible to use a virtual number. But the operator of virtual numbers may also require real data. I used it for free for a long time (I can’t provide a link, because here it is banned for aggressive spam O_o) - excellent service, affordable and adequate technical support (chat, voice), a lot of features, and most importantly - very reasonable prices. The number can be taken away only if you do not pay for several months or because of some local legal problems with the pool (it was once, they warned in advance - several months in advance, giving the opportunity to choose any other number and migrate to it). Otherwise, there were no problems with this service.
