Is it worth switching to Kotlin if Java is boring?
Guys, I've been learning Java for a long time. I realize that I am beginning to understand programming, gaining experience. But I feel like I don't like Java. And the belief that this is the first language and it needs to be brought to the ideal no longer helps to enjoy it.
Will switching to Kotlin solve this? Or is it worth to endure and still master Java?
I want to do independent projects for Android.

It seems to me that Aleksey Shipilev, for example, has been studying Java for a long time. And you - so, you learn to write something there.
To bring to the ideal is a long process. This is not cross stitch. If you are tired, uninteresting and difficult, you should generally think about whether you need all this. Most people who are now in the profession started with some kind of basic or pascal, without access to any forums, from a paper book, in a blue notepad. And they didn’t cry, but jumped for joy when the letters flickered across the screen.
Programming should be fun, you should really enjoy what you do. Switching to another language is unlikely to solve this problem. You just won't understand the beauty of Kotlin.
Almost no one has mastered Java yet.
Try kotlin - at least it is tailored to your goals.
And what specifically do you not like: the syntax, the tasks that the language performs, the complexity of the instructions, the community?
Decide what you like best, maybe you didn’t get there at all, but you need to write front in JS. Yes, and I agree with the first commentator, first of all, it should be a buzz and it doesn’t matter what you write in: JS, Java, PHP or AssOne.
