Is it worth replacing the processor in the system unit from i3 to i5?

Good day, I don’t know if it is necessary (is it worth it) to change the processor, I want to increase the system power, at the moment the system configuration is as follows: i3 4130 3.4GHz, video card r9 270 2gb 1400GHz. RAM 16gb 1333GHz. Is it worth changing the processor, for example, to an i5 4460 or to some other i5 ?, will it make sense to do this with this assembly ?, tell me, advise how to be please.

So-so performance gain will be when replacing with i5, but when replacing with i7-4770K - significant:
Alternatively, you can try to install a similar i7 Xeon from aliexpress, but this is provided that your MP supports Xeon.

Not worth it. Change immediately the set of percent / mother / RAM to a fresh generation. The same i5-9400f is more productive than the i7-4770K.

It should be understood that when switching to 4460 or even 4770, the thermal power of the processor will increase dramatically.
Most likely, a new cooler will also be needed.
So it makes little sense, except that the percentage will get free or cheap.
