Is it worth maintaining such a site (description inside)?
Friends, hello!
There is a site, self-written in php, sells video cooking lessons, there is a blog, and so on. The developer wrote it crookedly, then scored. As a result, part of the functionality works well, part does not work at all, the banal menu in the header is almost unclickable. I can't feel the site, sorry.
Tasks that have not been implemented at the moment (except for the already noticeable jambs):
- a single customer base
- end-to-end analytics
- mailing (auto-funnel)
- extended access to site administration (editing texts, etc.)
- eliminating errors in the process of accepting payments
- eliminating errors in the work of the affiliate program
, etc.
Offer to bring the site to a working state, support. We do not take into account that I am not a big specialist in php: it seems to me that it would be easier to type it in html / css and use some kind of cms, such as opencart. What can you advise? "Squeeze"? Or is using cms easier and more practical in this case?

I advise you to measure "practicality" by the ratio of the potentially assimilated budget to the effort expended per the number of nerves spent per unit of time.
ps is an SI unit and it is called
1 Lentyuy = $ income / (Joule of effort * gram of nerve cells * second)
the standard is stored in the Paris Chamber of Weights and Measures
if the price suits you, then you can support it, at the same time tighten up php) if you don’t like it - why bother?
