Is it worth learning the frontend right away using the BEM methodology?

Greetings!
I want to ask experienced front-end developers if it would be problematic to start immediately on BEM? Provided that I have basic skills in this and I like the methodology itself.
Thank you.

In fact, this is just a convention on the form of class naming. There is even nothing special to learn here, it is much more important to understand the essence. Of course it won't.

It's not worth focusing solely on bam. If you come, later to work in some kind of team, where this very BEM is preached by the will of unprecedented forces, then you will master it. In the meantime, just try to write understandable and logical code. Less noise, more semantics.
ps: There is no revolution in this methodology and it cannot be called a panacea either. I think that for most ordinary projects it is not suitable at all.

If you take the basic principles of BEM and refine this methodology for yourself, then it becomes possible to use it in almost any project.
Here is my implementation: AzaBEM is a concise modification of the BEM methodology .
I've been using this approach for several years now. Development has become very enjoyable.

BEM is useful to know, at least in order to understand what tasks it solves. Having dealt with it and its tasks, you will be able to develop methods for solving these tasks that are more suitable for you / situations (style isolation, code clarity, etc.) or use the same BEM if it suits you.
All in all, it's worth checking out anyway.
