Is it worth learning Machine Learning if you want to create video games?

Such news alarms / frightens me, because. thanks to AI, you can lose your job, or you can lose the whole buzz from coding. code is written for you.

I love and want to create games further, but if in the future only coding remains, then at least understand where to apply it in game development?
Those. You study ML for several years, then .... but what to do with this AI?
Like, it's a cool thing. You can fake people's faces or the weather, etc., but is that all people can think of?

Take a look at a couple of books on ML and AI ("growing neural networks" looks accessible for beginners), try to write your own simple AI, go a little deeper into the history of the issue

2. Understand what/how interesting things you can do with AI
