Is it worth learning Machine Learning if you want to create video games?
I create video games.
I saw news by type: Thanks to GPT-3, scripts will be written for developers.
Such news alarms / frightens me, because. thanks to AI, you can lose your job, or you can lose the whole buzz from coding. code is written for you.
I love and want to create games further, but if in the future only coding remains, then at least understand where to apply it in game development?
Those. You study ML for several years, then .... but what to do with this AI?
Like, it's a cool thing. You can fake people's faces or the weather, etc., but is that all people can think of?
Instead of gamedev, do ML, so that it creates games for you? What? And where is the interest in making the game? It turns out that you want to create games, but AI does it for you ....
Then, what's the point of living if all that remains for you to do is degradation?

Take a look at a couple of books on ML and AI ("growing neural networks" looks accessible for beginners), try to write your own simple AI, go a little deeper into the history of the issue
1. Get rid of paranoia
2. Understand what/how interesting things you can do with AI
3 You can even use it when creating games.
