Is it worth learning HTML/XHTML & CSS from a 2005 book, or is it better to use something else?

Book: Head First HTML with CSS & XHTML(2005).
Is it worth touching it at all, will it not be harmful for a beginner, or is it better to take on something else? For example, this is kind of fresh information, but then again, is it suitable for learning, or is it more of a reference?

I remember the picture "Linux at home, but why?". You can read it, but why, when there is more recent literature? If you are completely new, I can advise John Duckett - HTML and CSS. Website development and design (2013) and htmlacademy .
If you already have some knowledge, then try Hogan B. - HTML5 and CSS3. Next Generation Web Development - 2014 and Learning HTML5. Specialist Library. 2nd edition

It is better to take some reference book on hand and typeset layouts.
I believe practice is the best teacher.

it makes no sense to learn only two web programming languages out of three,
even if you work as a coder or designer - you definitely need to know the basics of js
, so - https://learn.javascript.ru/
