Is it worth it to combine work on the site with work for an uncle? (auto)?
Good afternoon !
Now I am working on my online project about cars, there are 5,000 visitors per day. I don’t work anywhere else, in fact, I have a free schedule, I wake up when I want - I want, I do what I want)
Now I have received an offer to work as a car sales manager.
I thought so - additional income, plus a topic that interests me - cars. Cons - the schedule is from 9 am to 7 pm, it will be necessary to "push" additional equipment to customers for each car, otherwise a fine - such working conditions - talked today! I have lost the habit of schedules from morning to evening, and I have also lost the habit of having a boss over me.
What do you think, is it worth getting a job there, or is it better to work for yourself and focus on your project?

If the project feeds you and the income is comparable or not much less than from work for hire - definitely work on your project and don’t twitch anywhere. For two years I combined work for hire and our project (now I live only from it) - it's very hard. He left his job as soon as finances allowed. When all efforts are invested in one thing and it brings money, this is almost an ideal option.
I think you need to start from what this work can give in the future to solve your problems with regards to your assets.
For example, connections and acquaintances, some kind of fresh look from the outside on your project, etc.
It's just stupid to go and work for the RFP, losing your own well-promoted project --- what's the point?
Decide for yourself whether you can benefit from working for your uncle or you can find a better use for those 10 hours a day.
Yes, you can work a little in a car dealership, before the first signs of dementia.
From Wikipedia:
Dementia is acquired dementia, a persistent decline in cognitive activity with the loss to some extent of previously acquired knowledge and practical skills and the difficulty or impossibility of acquiring new ones.
Kill it, in short.
I quit my job as a sysadmin in October 2013. I also work for myself. The income increased a little and I don’t stick around in the office from 9 to 18. 2 times during this time I tried to return to work for my uncle, not mine. Most likely, when you go to work, you will visit the site. Think about additional monetization of the site. If you treat the work of a manager as "adding additional equipment to each car" - probably sales are not for you. Decide youself
Work for a couple of months and get out. Shake, experience - everything is a plus. By the way, while doing an online project on cars, I also did a little less software, studied at those universities, worked in the office, did Muay Thai and had a relationship with a girl.
Judging by your description, you are not really working on your project))
With this approach, it is better to look for a job.
But seriously, your own project in the early stage of promotion should take all your time. 5000 people a day is a pathetic figure, you have to search/write content, look for advertisers, study search engines, raise your site in search results, etc. etc. All this requires a lot of effort.
In my opinion, 5,000 auto traffic per day can be monetized quite well, and if there is money commensurate with a salary, then why is that work asked for someone.
Many people do this now. The most important thing is that you have traffic. Ways of monetization can be seen on the page https://promdevelop.ru/rabota/dopolnitelnyj-zarabotok/
In any case, you need to draw up a clear action plan and schedule a day. Otherwise, you may not have time to do the main work.
