Is it worth it now to create a site with radically different content?

Good day to all! I have been thinking about this topic for a long time, the opinion of professionals is interesting. There is an idea to write a general site, which will have different topics and, of course, forums. By different topics I mean: IT, Business, Nature and so on. It's rough, but that's the gist of it. Will the site be well indexed and is it worth it at all?

If you are ready to invest a large amount, then why not. But narrowly focused sites are always ranked better (fb.ru, wiki, lifehacker, etc. are exceptions).
