Is it worth investing in a red diploma?

Student of the 4th year of a secondary regional university, near-IT specialty. He started working (in his specialty) after the first year, first in a local company, then he moved to a remote location.

I am graduating, before graduation, I had the opportunity to retake some disciplines for a higher grade. This will require a lot of time and moral effort, since not all teachers with whom you have to communicate about the retake have maintained good relations.

In this regard, the question arose - how useful is a red diploma if you have work experience and, in general, a head on your shoulders? (when moving to another country, perhaps, and generally interesting) Is it worth spending time on this at all, or is it better to invest time and effort in something else? (to polish the diploma more strongly, for example)

I am considering the possibility of entering a master's program, but in some universities I have a BVI for a student olympiad, so the option to get a red diploma as an extra. scores for admission is not particularly important.

every time I remember university with someone, I almost always say that I have a red diploma, but you don’t and you’re a lalka. That's where his pluses end.

when moving to another country
sometimes affects as one of the minor factors. For example, age up to 35 is several times more important.

I have been working in IT for about 10 years. It’s not just about color, I was only asked about the diploma itself once.
Doubtful benefits, it seems that you can spend this time on much more useful knowledge
. The diploma itself gives enough bonuses (for emigration, for example). Red adds nothing

University is not about a red or blue diploma, but it is about literally learning to learn . It is more important and more useful at the university to establish contacts with others and not only ... the best place for social contacts and gathering your future team.
In Russia, no one needs a diploma (maybe only state corporations, but the number of those where it would make sense to work is not large), in some situations (very rare) when moving abroad, for some specialties, a diploma can give a small plus when looking for a job, but for me it seems that this is a very small bonus, and what is more important here is not the color of the diploma, but the size / significance of the university itself (i.e., not every university and not every specialty is quoted by companies or other universities, if you have to improve your qualifications, as something significant).
Therefore, spending time and effort on a red diploma is a waste of them.
Just graduating from a university - this can still matter (more psychological, including for others).

In my time they said - "It is better to have a red face and a blue diploma than a red diploma and a blue face." Because neither then, nor even more so now, a red diploma gave anything but an immense CSF.
In real life, where a specialist is needed, they will be interested not in the color of your diploma, but in the availability of the necessary knowledge and skills. Where they come to work only twice a day in advance and on payday, good connections are needed. But wherever you go, having a diploma is a banal formality - an atavism of a scoop

You don't need a red diploma, unless you decide to go into science and government agencies. For all the time of work, I once ran into a leader who attached importance to the color of the diploma and I can honestly say that he was an extremely bad leader, who eventually lost all the good specialists.
And for all the interviews (including in foreign companies) I was never even asked if I had a diploma.

We had round red diplomas on the stream and acquaintances (school-techie-university all in red). In the vast majority, these are ordinary memorizers who received the highest marks for verbatim retelling of a lecture / textbook, and in real practice they were worse than confident averages, so the red color can, on the contrary, scare off employers.
