Is it worth going back to ASP?

Hello!
Starting my thorny path of programming, I chose C# followed by ASP.NET and more.
However, I soon had to switch to php, then python and node.js due to the fact that it only works on UNIX platforms.
However, today I saw this article:
habrahabr.ru/company/microsoft/blog/243067
And after I read to the point that .NET will be ported to all platforms, I had a question:
Is it worth it to gradually return to .NET to create small / medium web applications? Or will .NET still be redundant for medium-sized projects?
.NET itself was very fond of at one time, and switched to something else only because of the need.
Tell me please.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

@svd71

looking for what purpose.
It all depends on the area of application. Php is a good thing, I use it myself. And often it even brings income (not my case). But have you seen the system of any bank created in php? (Do not use Uryupinskpishepromtorgbank as an example). Or the Internet/Intranet system of a large manufacturing enterprise?

The difference between "will be transferred" and "Normally transferred without a bunch of crutches and performance degradation" in my opinion is enough to wait until it becomes clear what will come of their transfer.
