Is it worth getting rid of the bootstrap when developing a custom site for OpenCart?

Hello everyone, I started to study OpenCart, laid out all the pages of the store on flex (all pages, including product cards, admin panel, etc.). But then I saw that the whole OpenCart is built on the bootstrap grid, and as it is right in commercial development, everyone just spreads the content over the bootstrap grid, styling it.
Would it be bad practice to override the bootstrap or just accept and do everything in the built-in opencart library? Are there any masthead articles on the correct landing of the layout of an online store, etc. Thanks in advance.

@MininAlexey

whether the bootstrap is there or not. Bootstrap already takes into account cross-browser compatibility and adaptability - you can't do it manually. And if you do a bunch of extra work out of the blue
