Is it worth buying servers (platforms) in online stores?
Thinking about buying two new servers. The budget is not very small, but limited, and I would like to get maximum performance and reliability for the money. After collecting all the offers from suppliers and comparing with prices in well-known online stores, I tend to buy from the latter. Has anyone had experience with online stores for corporate purchases, what pitfalls can you stumble upon?

I took it in an online store from the official partner of the platform itself.
In general, if the store is well-known, then there should be no problems. The only thing that does not please is that if a replacement is needed, then you will have to carry it back yourself. Sometimes you will have to pay a large amount for a replacement. We somehow paid the store 6K for replacing the case at a cost of 30K. The supplier has set the price for them.
If the store is done on the knee, they may not even give a sales receipt. Was faced with this. They bring an order without documents with a piece of paper like a guarantee and start talking nonsense about the fact that they can not have a cash register.
If you need clean documents for accounting, then it is better to clarify in advance (and that does not always help - they can lie). But in general, large well-known stores do not allow themselves this, so they always give documents in a complete set.
I never had any problems. Bought online and directly from manufacturers.
If the store is normal and provides all the paperwork (for example, a check with the amount) for accounting, then there should be no problems.
You can clarify in the accounting department what exactly is needed from the store if you are not sure what you need to demand from the seller.
It seems to me that you are communicating incorrectly with suppliers, try to negotiate a price simply with them.
Work directly with distributors.
Naturally, in order to get a good price, you need to convince the manager of the great prospects for working with your company that can open up to him. If in the dialogue he feels that you are guided by the market, the prices will be completely different.
If you name the region and brand, I can advise you more specifically.
