Is it worth buying an x-box?

I'm going to buy an X-box. There are a lot of questions, since I have not used any console before. I would be glad if knowledgeable people chew on the following questions:
1. What is the current 360 or one?
2. Can I add my own 2 TB hard drive to it, what kind of hard drive is included, how many can be connected?
3. I am currently using a normal PC with XBMC shell. I want to use x-box not only for games, but also for movies and music. Will it work?
4. Do I need a joystick, can I connect a keyboard and mouse?
5. How are things with non-native pieces of iron? Will I be able to connect a regular USB camera, a genius USB joystick?
6. Noise, heat dissipation?
7. Is there access to files over the network? And if on an Ubuntu PC?
Thanks in advance for your replies. Perhaps in the course of receiving comments there will be new ones.
UPD : Thanks everyone for the replies. Decided not to buy.

Not worth it. It's better to buy books.

1. one is newer.
2. There is support for external hard drives. Almost all consoles come with 500GB, but there is a bundle with call of duty where the hard is 1TB.
3. There is a media player with dlna support
4. It seems like there are some ways to connect the keyboard + mouse, I was not interested, there was no need.
5. Probably not, I don't know.
6. I can't hear the noise. It heats up, of course, but not like an oven.
7. There is dlna, there is a cloud from microsoft
If you are in Russia, then I advise you to hurry up with the choice. Now there is an opportunity to buy a console not at an increased price, and they will also give you a game with a gamepad. Even now in the store there are New Year's discounts on games, you will think for a long time - miss everything. I advise you to go to the official group in contact. Read the discussions and recent posts on the wall. The group is called Xbox Russia.
