Is it worth buying a PS3 outside of Russia

The craving for games finally motivated me to buy a PS3. But both my wife and I prefer everything in the original language. And since I don't know anything about PS3, several questions arise:

1. Is it possible to buy games in English in Russia?
2. If not, will the games ordered somewhere on Amazon work on PS3 bought in Russia.
3. On which PSN can I register if I buy a set-top box in Russia and on which if I order on Amazon?
4. Actually, the prefix itself - is there any difference between the one bought from us or delivered from behind a hillock, for example, in terms of interface.

1. Most games are not translated into Russian. There are games that are translated, but allow you to play with the original voice acting. But there are those where only the Russian language.
You can buy games in English. In most cases, they are delivered before the official release date from Europe (most often from the UK). I can give the address of an excellent online store that (including) trades in this.
2. Only those games that are in the same region as their Russian counterparts. That is, games from Europe will be launched for you.
3. In any. I am registered in American, Japanese, Russian and German PSN.
4. The interface language can be changed to any supported one. Including in English.

There are no regional restrictions for PS3 games. For Ps2\Ps1 - yes, if it supports it. The language in games is changed by switching the system language to the desired one. All Russian toys have English subtitles and/or voice acting. The regionality of the console also matters only for warranty stores - a console bought on Amazon will only be repaired in America. You can register in any PSN Store - the only thing is, get ready to pay in the currency of the country that owns the store. Again, not a problem, there are recharge cards, bank cards are not needed.
Consoles bought “there” will require the replacement of an electrical plug from an American one to ours - the PSU of the console itself is multivoltage, and perfectly “eats” both their 110 and our 220

In English, you can read here:

In a nutshell - you can play any game, but there are restrictions depending on the region. For example, some countries may disable/replace blood splatter or the appearance of bare bones. The region itself is important only when viewing licensed video discs.

It is also worth considering the regional binding to the PlayStation Network. By default, in Russia there is a registration in the European PSN. And if games are bought on Amazon (that is, games for North America), then various add-ons for games purchased from our PlayStation Store may not be compatible with the American version of the game.
