Is it worth building a computer with an AMD Ryzen processor?

Good afternoon! It is planned to assemble a computer for games and other (less resource-dependent) tasks costing about $850. Is it worth building a system based on an amd ryzen processor? Both there and there have their pluses and minuses.

So far, Intel is better for games, because under 6-8 cores they still don’t do proper optimization of games. So, ideally, with less cost - you buy i5K and drive it to the maximum (for your own cooling). Profit will be more at a lower price. And I immediately say do not confuse overclocked ai5 and some top ai7 tops in laptops. The computer will work much better.
As I took 4670K 4 years ago, I never saw a single lag in any IDE, of course, if we talk about huge projects where you need to compile a ton of time, then it can be ai7 and will give an increase of a couple of tens% or when rendering and cad programs, but not otherwise. Otherwise, it's better to take an i5 and spend those extra 100-150 bucks on an SSD or a sound card ;)

I bet on AMD!
75tr in CU spent
1) ASUS Prime x470-PRO
2) 64GB 3200CL16 ryzen READY2019 micron e-die(AES!), not yet overclocked to 3800
3) Ninja5 cooler
4) 1300w seasonic platinum
5) TWO nvme ssd 1000GB each (x4 speed 3GB / s, x2 1.5GB / s) model PNY XLR8 CS3030
6) Don’t care that it’s expensive, a mouse for the soul Logitech G502 Hero schwarz
For everything a little less than 1000 euros
7) Avito first got Ryzen 1700 (3900Mhz EASY) = 9000r + cooler with backlight,
expensive, but urgently needed !!
oh5K is complete bullshit (1700th sign R15 1780 ass), you should NOT take it, if you want intel, then take 9900K right away (which in terms of raw performance loses EVEN 1700mu (3900Mhz) in 7-zip (68000+ MIPS on Ryzen))
Do not be afraid of the 1700th (first generation Ryzen!), Almost the same as Ryzen3600, take at least 8 cores
, but with 3700X, 3900X Intel RELAXES! 3900X is exactly 2x faster than 1700...
