I have read several articles where some have stated in the comments that random classes increase rendering due to the short class name. However, search engines perceive this approach worse.

I don’t understand, why the hell do search robots prefer CSS, which says what is in this block (bem)?

Random classes are needed to make styles modular (module styles did not intersect with other modules in any way and were independent).
Search bots look at classes, but they look for certain classes to make the page look different in search results (google html markup, or rather read a chapter in the HTML book the complete guide)
