Is it safe to run pirated software on Android?

Pure Android 6.0, device with official firmware (no root).
Is it possible to use an additional user account (with its own data and programs) as a testing ground for potentially dangerous applications (taken, say, from w3bsit3-dns.com)? Will this affect the overall security of the device (main account data)?
PS How independent are accounts in Android? Sorry if the question is stupid.

the right decision to take another inexpensive phone for the sandbox, tea is not Apple - the loot will not bite off.
and do not store important data in the sandbox.
in general, it all depends on the source of the applications, and in Google play to hell with trojans.
and with 4pda, a lot of people use a modified Sberbank application.
