Is it safe for the battery to turn the power on/off frequently?

There is a solar battery and a battery connected to it through a converter. Depending on the level of illumination, the current in the battery either flows or not. How dangerous is such periodic charging for the battery and how will it affect its capacity? (The current is small, will not exceed 0.2A.)

если NiCa то не долго , если LiPol то контроллер должен нормально регулировать заряд-разряд

А как вы еще предполагаете пользоваться батареей солнечной как не в таком режиме?
Выбора нет.
