And then I sell an old HDD, and formatting with the dban program (low-level formatting) is very long (90 hours), it will interfere with sleep for at least 4 days, I live in the same room.
I don’t have important information directly on my hard drive, except for accounts, but there’s nothing personal there either, it will just be unpleasant if someone reads my correspondence or harms me. It seems to be logical that sessions, cookies and tokens have been deleted, which means you won’t get access to accounts, but still my paranoia torments me. Physically destroying the HDD is a loss of money :)

Low-level formatting is a service partition of a disk. It is produced exclusively at the factory, it is impossible to perform at home.

If there are victims, it is better to contact the police, rather than discuss crime on IT resources.
To delete information, you just need to delete everything from the disk, burn movies, music, to the eyeballs, and do a quick format.
