Is it possible to write software in RN for both platforms without Mac and iPhone?

The bottom line is that you need to write a simple application, preferably for both platforms, make it possible to make purchases (the software version is paid and free) and "throw it out" on the apple store and google market, respectively.
I myself write in Ruby \ Python and only the server part, I am indirectly familiar with JS, but I have time to study it and React Native, there are no "apple" products at all (only my wife has an iPhone) and I really don’t want to buy even a poppy for one application , on this question: is it worth it to write for the iPhone if there is no Macintosh?

If there is no poppy, then there is a great opportunity to install a hackintosh. This is the best way not to spend a lot of money on apple hardware and your wife's phone is enough to put the application in the store. Only you should know that an apple developer account costs 100 ye per year.

As a rule, what is written in RN looks worse on Android.
With each version of Android, the situation improves.
Testing under iOs on a real device still won't work, only a simulator.
I built it and put it on the device for myself and my friends to 'click' - this can and should be done only on Android.
It's probably not worth buying a poppy to try, again, if the goal is to develop on RN, then there is nothing better than a poppy. You will only lose time with Hackintosh, x-code will not work, the same with virtual machines, too much is tied to the architecture.
PS there is still Expo - this is an option to start without a poppy, but these are their own libraries and the limitations associated with this, but for a one-time project and so as not to get into tooling under RN norms option
