Is it possible to write in unity and get a 2d flash file that will work fine in all flash players?

Hello,
I'm a bit confused with technology. I correspond with people and get such answers:
>> Unity3d engine is the flash engine. AS3
and
>>I worked with flash build under unity. that is, the application is developed by other means, but in the end it comes out flash-compatible and runs like a normal application
. And the questions arise: do applications created on unity need a separate unity player or not? And is it possible to make a flash application on unity that will not fail in flash players? (minimal 2d effects)

Previously, Unity3d supported a build for flash, but alas, now it’s unlikely that it will be possible to compile something.

+ The Unity3d engine has never been and never will be a flash engine
