Is it possible to write in Java in the new version of Unity (2018.2)?
I read this news about the new version of Unity, where it says:
"With the new version of the engine, users will be able to load files with .java extensions into the project without the need to build separate libraries in Android Studio. They will be recognized as Unity plugins and compiled into an executable file."
T .to. I don’t know C#, the question became the following - did I understand correctly that now it is possible to write scripts in Java in Unity, and not only in C#? And if so, how (Unity downloaded the latest version, made a couple of developments, but how can I use files with the .java extension there?)
PS Maybe the question is stupid, but I'm just learning android and development on Unity
