Is it possible to work with Open Street Maps through the Google maps API?

Google maps has a very good ability to style the map, is it possible to work with open street maps through their API? And will it be possible to style them in the same way through the google maps api? If so, how, I would really like to see an example, I will be very grateful.
PS Specifically, from styling, I'm interested in the ability to change the color of the map, ideally it's possible to customize the map (in terms of color) as in this example: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/j... but I don't know if it's possible to Google API to connect OSM and style it the same way.

You can’t, the Google API only works with Google maps, like the Yandex API with Yandex.maps.
OpenStreetMap has its own API, and study it /
UPD. At least the OpenStreetMap API existed in 2009.

if by osm cards you mean only tiles from the offsite site, then you can’t change them in any way. it's just pictures. although you can connect it as an external tms layer in google maps.
Google, quite cleverly, keeps its functionality only for itself :)
dig deeper with maps from the mapbox. they have both osm based vector and their own styles and everything else.
