Is it possible to use WiFi antennas for 3G modem?

The question is this - I have a wireless network card installed in my netbook with two sockets for antennas, respectively, there are also two antennas. Today I installed a third one, taken from the router, into the case through the IPX-RP SMA adapter, using the old antenna from the D-Link router. Total - one antenna is not connected. Can it be connected to a modem? Those. Will it affect the signal level? Modem Huawei E173, if anything.

The wave frequency of mobile network and wifi is different. Therefore, the signal amplification will be insignificant.

In terms of efficiency, it is equivalent to a piece of wire of arbitrary length. Here you can read about the calculation of simple antennas.
