Is it possible to connect a media converter instead of a huawei Rostelecom router?

I have a single-mode dlink converter, is it possible to connect it instead of a Huev router from Rostelecom, can anyone have experience? Or can put their router into bridge mode and connect your own?

There's no Ethernet, so a media converter won't work.
But you can most likely set up huawei with a bridge. Call tech support.
