Is it possible to use the Yandex Maps route builder without using an api key?

I found several examples of routes on Yandex maps, but when transferred to my site, they do not work.

As I understand it, for these domains, Yandex has removed restrictions, while other sites require an api key. Correctly?

Remove the key in https://jsfiddle.net/Vampire/d9xcjnog/2/
and the script will work.
Yandex has general restrictions on accesses without a key - then someone will be as lucky.
