Is it possible to use standard means to record an asterisk conversation in two channels?

When you listen to a recording, it is mono, I would like it to be stereo, and the operator should write in the left ear, and the client in the right. Can this be done using standard asterisk tools, or is it impossible to do without crutches?

The Monitor application can write to two different files and call the command specified in the MONITOR_EXEC variable when the write is completed.
